The field of biology and disease control is a branch of health sciences in which the student gets acquainted with the types of arthropods and rodents that are important in terms of medicine, health and diseases that are transmitted by them during the 4-year training course. Awareness acquires the scientific and practical skills needed to combat the carrier population and reduce disease. The student acquires the necessary knowledge and ability for field operations (collection and detection of vector insects, various arthropods, rodents and their control and evaluation of control methods) in urban and rural areas and has sufficient skills to perform laboratory operations, determining different species, finding parasites in vectors, determining the level of susceptibility of arthropods to different toxins.
